Virginia Class A Builder's License and serves the custom residential market in the Northern Virginia region. Years of experience include drafting, reading plans,
preparing material take-offs (list of building materials) and pricing for schools and shopping centers, home improvements, and additions.

Background
Quentin worked for a structural engineer preparing shop drawings for steel fabrication used in commercial structures such as shopping centers, apartments and warehouses.
Quentin also prepared working drawings for architects for various commercial and residential projects, including apartments, shopping centers and single family homes.
Work experience includes preparing estimates and acting as a purchasing agent for general contractors who were building apartments, public schools, a hospital and single family homes.
Quentin was a project manager for a general contractor for an apartment project.
As a self-employed contractor, he made drawings for and built residential projects including custom homes, home improvements and remodeling.
Quentin obtained his Virginia Class A Contractors License in 1976 and continued designing and building residential projects through the 1990's.
Quentin retired from building in 2005 but continues to draw plans for residential projects for homeowners and general contractors.
